2007 Misiones de Rengo Cuvee Carmenere $19
The nose is intense with lush aromas of deep, spicy blackberry jam and toasted oak. With a spicy complex palate of black plum, black plum, hazelnut and dark chocolate. I love this red because of it's elegance and refinement with amazing balance. The finish is long and smooth with more toasty vanilla and roasted coffee beans. Drink now thru 2014.

Cabernet, Malbec, Carmenère and Syrah together are well integrated and very tasty; blueberry, blackberry, sloe berry and vanilla float across the palate with ease. This full-bodied red blend has a long finish with notes of chocolate and burnished wood.

This is a fabulous wine; this Carmenère opens with scents of dark fruit, dill sprigs and chocolate. The palate expands with olive, plum, blackberry and coffee flavors, and as a whole it works with a certain ease that announces i'm a best buy.
